Happy Valentine’s Day! Sharing a healthy twist on one of my favorite chocolate treats. What better combo than chocolate and peanut butter? These protein balls are soo tasty and filling to snack on between meals or as a sweet treat after dinner. I like to double the recipe and freeze some for later!
- 3/4 cup + 2 Tbs Peanut Butter (Jif works great!)
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup almond flour
- 3 Tbs Cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup honey
- 6 Tbs mini chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Use a spoon to portion and roll into balls. You can leave them plain or add toppings if you desire! A few of my favorite toppings are shredded coconut, chopped pecans, flaxseeds, and chocolate chips. Enjoy!
