We like to call this our “reset” water. Drink this water when you need to de-puff and de-bloat. It’s a great way to kick start clean eating or a great way to get rid of the “bad” after a few days of over-indulging.
Make this water at night, let it work its magic in the fridge while you sleep, and wake up and get drinking!
No fancy pitcher is required. I use a plastic one with a lid like your mom used to make kool-aid in. I do recommend it having a lid with a strainer on it so when you pour the water out, it leaves the ingredients in the pitcher.
What you will need: 1 lemon, 1 cucumber, ginger, and 12 mint leaves. Cut ingredients, sprinkle in about a tablespoon of ground ginger (or cut off about an inch of ginger root and put in the pitcher) and top with 12 mint leaves. Fill pitcher about ¾ full. Stir. Sit in fridge. Go to sleep. Wake up recharged and drink this water all throughout the day—try to drink the whole pitcher.
We drink this water for 4 to 5 days straight about once a month.
